Welding experiment of 800MPa steel plate:
(1) Power Industry Metal Structure Equipment Quality Inspection Center and WUGang respectively conducted a series of experimental studies on the weldability and cold working performance of WSD690E steel, and the results showed that WSD690E steel has good cold crack resistance. Electrode arc welding preheating above 70, submerged arc automatic welding preheating above 50, gas shielded welding preheating above 100 can prevent cold cracks. Under reasonable heat input conditions, the mechanical properties of welded joints of WSD690E steel meet the requirements of relevant standards. At the same time, the WSD690E steel plate has good laminar tear resistance. WSD690E steel can be processed by gas cutting without preheating, and has good adaptability to gas cutting and gouging. WSD690E steel has good weldability. The tensile and impact test results of the welded joint under 20KJ/cm line energy and 30KJ/cm line energy are still good after 600±10 and 8 hours of post-welding heat treatment. When the submerged arc welding wire energy is increased to 50KJ/cm, good welding joint performance can still be obtained.
(2) Sichuan Jiaotong University Engineering Testing Consulting Co., Ltd. commissioned Wugang 60mm thick SX780CF steel plate butt joint mechanical performance test results for Wudongde Metal structure engineering project of China Water Conservancy and Hydropower Sixth Engineering Bureau Co., LTD. The tensile, bending and impact toughness of SX780CF steel plate butt joint produced by Wugang fully meet the standard requirements, and the toughness of weld seam and heat affected zone has enough surplus compared with the standard requirements. This result indicates that the SX780CF steel produced by Wugang can completely replace imported materials in the 800Mpa grade high-strength hydropower plate, and achieve complete domestic production.
