SX780CF is a high-strength and low-crack susceptible steel for large-scale hydropower projects, which can be produced by Wuyang Steel Mill in China and belongs to the brand of the Science and Technology Department of Wuyang Steel Mill. It is mainly used for the manufacture of volutes, pressure steel pipes and other important structural parts in large-scale hydroelectric generating units with an installed capacity of more than 10 million kilowatts and high-head storage power stations, which need to have high strength and toughness, good cold deformation and weldability.
