SPV355 is used to manufacture forgings that require higher strength and quenched and tempered cross-section than 35CrMo steel, such as large gears for locomotive traction, supercharger transmission gears, rear axles, connecting rods and spring clamps with great load, SPV355 can also be used for oil deep well drill pipe joints and fishing tools below 2000m. SPV355 is suitable for one-piece forming electrical appliances, electronic molds, plastic molds, mold holders

a) The number of

samples and sampling direction of the tensile test and bending test are directly rolled from the same slab or the same ingot, and 1 tensile sample and 1 bending sample are taken perpendicular to the rolling direction. For heat-treated steel plates, take one sample from each batch of heat-treated steel plates under the same conditions.
b) The number and direction of samples for impact testing are taken from each steel plate directly rolled from the same slab or the same ingot, and three samples from each sample parallel to the rolling direction, unless otherwise specified. For heat-treated steel plates, take one sample blank from each batch of heat-treated steel plates under the same conditions.
c) The sampling position of tensile test specimens and flexure test specimens should be prepared, and the center of the specimen should be 1/4 width from the edge of one side, and in the case of No. 4 tensile specimen, it should also be 1/4 thickness from the surface. However, when the center of the specimen cannot be fixed 1/4 width from the side or 1/4 thickness from the surface, the sample should be taken as close as possible to the specified position.
