SA204GrB is a molybdenum alloy steel plate for pressure vessels. The A724GrC level is divided into three levels: A724GrA, A724GrB, and A724GrC. Boron can be added in the production of C-grade steels.

1) The materials supplied according to this standard shall meet the requirements of A20/A20M standard. These requirements include methods and procedures for testing and retesting, permissible deviations in size and weight, repair of quality and defects, marking and loading, and ordering information.

2) In addition to the basic requirements specified in this standard, a number of supplementary requirements may be adopted when more control, testing or inspection is required to meet the end-use requirements. The purchaser shall refer to the additional requirements listed in this standard and the detailed requirements in the A20/A20M standard.

3) If the requirements in this standard are inconsistent with the requirements in the A20/A20M standard, the requirements in this standard shall prevail.
