American Standard SA1017 Gr.92CL2 Steel Plate Heat Treatment
SA1017 Gr.92CL2 steel plate should be normalized at a temperature of 1000-1975°F (1040~1080°C). tempered at 1350~1470F1 730-809°C). If permitted by the purchaser, SA1017 Gr.92CL2 steel plate can be austenitized at 1300 1975°F (1040~1080°C), and quenched with jet air or liquid, quickly cooled from the austenitic temperature, and then tempered at 1350-1470°F (730 800°C).
