P500Q is a weldable fine-grained steel hardened and tempered for essential purposes. Executive standard: EN10028-6, number: 1.8879.

steel plate should meet the requirements of 2007+A1:2009 in EN10028-1. P500Q steel plate is a steel for pressure equipment with excellent plasticity, resistance, cold bending and welding properties.

The grades in the EN10028-6 standard are divided into four categories

1, basic use: P355Q, P460Q, P500Q, P690Q

2, high temperature performance: P355QH, P460QH, P500QH, P690QH

3. -40°C low temperature performance: P355QL1, P460QL1, P500QL1, P690QL1

4. -60°C low temperature performance: P355QL2, P460QL2, P500QL2, P690QL2

P500Q steel plate is mainly used in the manufacture of high-pressure vessels and boilers and other equipment, and has a wide range of applications in nuclear power plants, chemical industry, oil and gas and other industries. It has good weldability and corrosion resistance, and can meet the requirements of use in high temperature and high pressure environments.

P500Q thickness direction performance requirements: Z15, Z25, Z35.

P500Q steel plate conventional size: thickness 8-200mm, width 1600-2000mm, length 10000-12000mm.
