NVE550 Det Norske Veritas certified steel plate, AB/EQ56 offshore steel plate, E550 steel plate fixe

NVE550 Det Norske Veritas certified steel plate, AB/EQ56 offshore engineering steel plate, E550 steel plate fixed rolled vNVE550 is Det Norske Veritas certified offshore steel, AB/EQ56 is American Bureau of Shipping certified offshore steel.

NVE550 steel plate fixed rolling: Wugang Xiangyang

NVE550 steel plate is usually quenched and tempered, normalized, thermomechanical rolling + tempering state

can choose Z25 or Z35. Flaw detection specification requirements, flaw detection grade requirements, Z-direction function requirements, classification society certification requirements, adding special alloy element requirements, etc.

NVE550 steel plate flaw detection requirements: one probe, two probe, three probe.

NVE550 steel plate density: 7.85 / cubic meter.

NVE550 Steel Plate Weight adjustment formula: thickness * width * length * density.

F400 Inspection - Tolerance

401 steel mills should be responsible for surface inspection and dimensional

verification before shipment, and should confirm that the quality and dimensional tolerances meet the requirements. The steel mill should also be responsible for complying with the general requirement of eliminating internal defects in materials.

If the company has accepted the material and later finds that the material is defective, the steel mill should still be responsible.

Plates and other products of 402 ultra-high strength steel should be thoroughly visually inspected on both sides of the product by the manufacturer to guarantee that there are no defects and no incompleteness. If necessary, appropriate non-destructive testing methods such as magnetic particle and/or ultrasonic inspection may be required for inspection.

403 For the thickness negative tolerance of steel, wide flat steel and welded profiles for hull construction, the maximum permissible value is -0.3mm.

For rolled profiles for hull structures, the permissible value of the negative tolerance of the thickness shall meet the requirements of recognized international or national standards.

A negative thickness tolerance that is acceptable for classification should be considered as the lower limit of the "positive-negative" range of thickness tolerances. It can be found (average) at the nominal thickness of the normal production material manufactured with a conventional rolling mill.

In individual cases, shipyards and shipowners may agree together for commercial reasons that they wish to set the negative thickness tolerance more
stringent than given
.

Thickness should be measured at random points that are at least 10 mm from the longitudinal edge. Partial surface depressions caused by defects and regrinding due to

defect elimination are negligible, but these dents and reconditioning conform to accepted national international standards.

404 For seamless steel pipes used in structures, the tolerances for their outer diameter, wall thickness and non-roundness should be determined and agreed upon before production.
