CCSFH550 steel plate introduction, CCS-FH550 marine engineering steel plate, FH550-Z35 high-strength

CCS-FH550 is a high-strength offshore engineering steel plate certified by China Classification Society, and the Z-direction representation method of the steel plate is the same, all of which are based on the Z-direction performance letter at the end of the steel plate grade and the average value of the Z-direction performance level required sample is not less than the grade requirements. Z-direction performance level from low to high arrangement Z25, Z35, Z-direction performance steel plate professional name is lamellar tear-resistant steel plate.

The International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) is made up of the world's leading surveying agencies, with 11 full members and 2 associate members. Full members are American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Bureau Veritas (BV), China Classification Society (CCS), Det Norske Veritas (NV), German Lloyd's Register (GL), Korea Register of Shipping (KR), British Classification Society (LR), Japan Maritime Association (NK), Polish Register of Shipping (PRS), Italian Register of Ships (RINA), Russian Register of Ships (RS), and associate members are Indian Bureau of Shipping (IRS) and Croatian Register of Ships (CRS). More than 95% of the gross tonnage of the world's merchant ships has been subject to the statutory accreditation of IACS authorized classification societies.

CCS-FH550 marine steel refers to the steel used in the manufacture of hull structures of sea vessels and inland vessels, usually high-quality carbon steel and high-quality low-alloy steel. Marine steel requires certain strength, toughness, low temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, and requires good welding performance. The steel used for the general strength hull structure is divided into 4 grades: A, B, D, E, and the yield strength (not less than 235N/mm^2) and tensile strength (400~520N/mm^2) of these 4 grades of steel are the same, but the impact energy at different temperatures is different.

CCS-FH550 also has high toughness, the steel plate cutting version is smaller, and easy to weld, can be used for bearings, special-shaped parts cutting, large tailored flanges, etc., after certification by classification society, can be used for shipbuilding, hull internal parts, ship maintenance, and ship supporting systems, hull shell manufacturing, marine lifting equipment, as well as offshore oil production platforms, sea construction, deck machinery, etc.
