When taking impact test samples for steel with a thickness of 6mm~<12mm, small-sized samples of 5mm*10mm*55mm and 7.5mm*10mm*55mm can be taken respectively, and the impact energy values are not less than 2/3 and 5/6 of the specified value respectively. Larger specimens are preferred.
The impact test results of the steel are calculated based on the arithmetic mean of a set of 3 specimens, and 1 of the test values is allowed to be below the specified value, but not less than 70% of the specified value. The section shrinkage rate in the Z direction of steel thickness should comply with the provisions of the following table.
