ASTM A709-HPS50W-T1 grade steel should be smelted using the fine-grained steel operation method;

For ASTM A709-HPS50W-T1 grade steel, it should be a low-hydrogen steel with a vacuum pumping process; Control the soaking heat of ingots and billets; Control the slow cooling of ingots, billets, steel plates, or a combination of them.

ASTM A709-HPS50W-T1 steel grades should be made in the following condition: rolling, controlled rolling, mechanical rolling with thermally accelerated cooling or without accelerated cooling (TMCP), or quenching plus tempering.
