There are eight different grades of products under the ASTM A514/A514M standard: A514 GrA, A514GrB, A514GrE, A514GrF, A514GrH, A514GrP, A514GrQ, A514Gr.S. Different grades of A514 steel plate have different thicknesses, chemical compositions and properties.

For the transverse test of the steel plate, the elongation is required to be reduced by 2%, and the minimum section shrinkage is reduced by 5%. See section A6/A6M tensile test for elongation requirements for adjustments.

A514GrE steel plate application range: the main use is to be used in the demand for high tensile strength, high yield places, engineering car lifting gear, large excavators, marine channels, etc. Different grades of A514 steel plates vary in thickness, chemical composition and function. However, the mechanical functions of ASTM A514 are generally similar to those of Q690 in China.
