Introduction of 42CrMo4 alloy steel plate

42CrMo4 belongs to alloy structural steel plates, and 42CrMo4 is used to manufacture forgings that require higher strength and quenched and tempered cross-section than 35CrMo steel. For example, the large gear used for locomotive traction, the supercharger transmission gear, the rear axle, the connecting rod and spring clamp with great load, 42CrMo4 can also be used for the drill pipe joint and salvage tool of oil deep wells below 2000m.
42CrMo4 implements the European standard EN 10083/3-2006, number 1.7225. 42CrMo implements the national standard GB/T 3077-1999.
42CrMo4 and 42CrMo steel plates belong to ultra-high strength steels, which have high strength and toughness, good hardenability, no obvious tempering brittleness, high fatigue limit and multiple impact resistance after quenching and tempering treatment, and good low-temperature impact toughness. 42CrMo steel is suitable for manufacturing large and medium-sized plastic molds that require a certain strength and toughness
