Introduction to 38CrMoAl American Standard Boiler Vessel Plate
38CrMoAl is a high-grade nitriding steel plate, which has the characteristics of wear resistance, fatigue resistance and high strength. It is mainly used for nitrided parts with accurate dimensions after heat treatment, or various nitriding parts with low impact load and high wear resistance, such as boring bars, grinding machine spindles, automatic lathe spindles, gauges, models, governors, rotating sleeves, fixed sleeves on steam turbines, various wear-resistant parts on rubber and plastic extruders, etc.

38CrMoAl has high surface hardness, wear resistance and fatigue strength, and has good heat resistance and corrosion resistance, and the hardenability is not high. It is used to make nitriding parts with high wear resistance, high fatigue strength and considerable strength, and high dimensional accuracy after treatment, such as imitation molds, cylinder liners, gears, high-pressure valves, boring bars, worms, grinding machine spindles, etc. However, larger parts should not be used. 38CrMoAl container plate production process:
