Introduction of 25CrMo4 steel plate for German high temperature pressure vessel

25CrMo4 alloy structural steel is a German high-temperature pressure vessel steel. Material No. 1.7218, according to German standard: EN10083.3-2006. Corresponding to China's grade 20CrMo, Japan's grade SCM420SCM22). It has high hardenability, no tempering brittleness, weldability, quite good, little tendency to form cold cracking, good machinability and cold strain composition. It is used in a quenched and tempered or carburized quenching state. It is mainly used for the manufacture of high-pressure pipes and various fasteners working in non-corrosive media and media with a working temperature of less than 250 °C and containing nitrogen and hydrogen mixtures, such as gears, shafts, etc.
