Introduction of steel plate grades for 12Cr1MoVR pressure vessels

12Cr1MoVR is a steel plate for boilers and pressure vessels, which is usually delivered in a normalized condition. 2Cr1MoVR boiler and pressure vessel steel plate implements GB713-2014 standard. 12Cr1MoVR steel plate is suitable for: petrochemical, nuclear power, steam turbine block, thermal power and other large equipment with high temperature and high pressure, and hydrogen or hydrogen mixed media. 12Cr1MoV steel plate has higher oxidation resistance and thermal strength. The creep limit of this steel is close to the durability strength value and has high plasticity in the case of durable tensile. It is a widely used steel grade for boiler superheaters, headers and main steam ducts of high-pressure, ultra-high-pressure and subcritical power stations.
