08Ni3DR steel plate is mainly used in the manufacture of ultra-low temperature equipment such as large cryogenic storage tanks and pressure vessels in the chemical field Previously, the 08Ni3DR steel plate with an impact temperature of -100 °C developed by Wugang has passed the review organized by the National Boiler and Container Standards Committee, with a review thickness of 100mm, which is at the leading level
in China. The steel plate is delivered in a normalized (allowing accelerated cooling) plus tempering state, or offline quenching plus tempering state. The tempering temperature is not less than 620 °C, and the steel plate with a thickness of no more than 25mm can be delivered in a normalized state.

In order to meet the domestic market demand and improve the market share of products in the high-end market, Wugang has developed ultra-thick 08Ni3DR steel plates. The successful trial production of 150mm thick 08Ni3DR steel plate, after the comprehensive performance inspection of professional authorities, is fully qualified. Wugang Company has successfully trial-produced an ultra-low temperature 08Ni3DR steel plate with a thickness of 150mm in China, and the product flaw detection is in line with the national standard level 1 and has excellent performance. So far, the production of ultra-low temperature 08Ni3DR steel plate has become a reality in Wugang, which can provide a complete set of ultra-low temperature steel plates for the manufacturing of a complete set of low temperature equipment in the chemical field.
