The world's largest 13,000 cubic meter Type B LNG fuel tank built by China Shipbuilding Dalian Shipbuilding Equipment Co., Ltd. was successfully completed and delivered to users. During the construction of the project, more than 5,000 tons of special steel from Wugang Company of HBIS Group were successfully used in the manufacture of Type B LNG fuel tanks.
The Type B LNG fuel tank is the core equipment of the LNG dual-fuel powered 16,000TEU container ship built by Dalian Shipbuilding for Mediterranean Shipping, and each ship is equipped with an independent BType cabin, this delivery is the first cabin of the B type cabin of the series of ships. This type of ship can meet the requirements of the latest IMO environmental protection regulations, and is the world's leading new generation of container ships.
As the project aims to set a new benchmark in the industry for a new generation of green ship types, the customer was very selective in the choice of materials used to manufacture the fuel bunkers of container ships. In the process of in-depth docking with customers, Wugang gives full play to its own advantages, optimizes and upgrades the original technology, boldly innovates the steel plate process design, and professionally customizes special steel plates to meet the differentiated needs of customers. In the production process, Wugang strictly controls the quality of steel plates, optimizes the production process, and ensures that the steel plates are delivered to customers ahead of the agreed delivery date, and the steel plates can not only meet the performance requirements of the project for the use of steel plates in ultra-low temperature environments, but also thin and wide, which is convenient for customers to process and manufacture, and has been highly recognized by customers.
