Yebatan Hydropower Station is a major project of the central government to support Tibet's economic and social development during the 12th and 13th Five-Year Plans, a major project for the construction of the national "West-to-East Power Transmission" connection base and the Southwest Hydropower Base, and is also the hydropower station with the largest planned installed capacity in the upper reaches of the Jinsha River, with an installed capacity of 2.24 million kilowatts, an annual power generation capacity of 10.2 billion kilowatt hours, and a total investment of more than 33 billion yuan.
